DOJ responds to Texas and other states’ on DACA
Chris Geidner
@chrisgeidner JUST IN: DOJ responds to Texas and other states’ motion for a preliminary injunction in their challenge to DACA. DOJ agrees DACA is unlawful, but asks for a 14-day stay if an injunction is to be granted, given injunctions in CA & NY against stopping DACA. https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/sta...87588821905408 |
Re: DOJ responds to Texas and other states’ on DACA
Someone translate. To me it sounds like they agree but can't do anything due to the other injunctions against termination, in NY and CA. However, it also seems like they'd be looking to contest those injunctions.
Timeframes? Anyone |

Hopefully I heard wrong, but Univision briefly talked about this on the local news and they said DACA will end in 14 days. Gotdam.

So. I just went and read the thing and nowhere it says it will stop. It says, IF this court finds that an injunction is warranted.
No official injunction now or in fourteen days. Someone else g read it as well and tell me what you understand |
