i got a request for proof and i dont really have anything i helped my aunt out in her store for about nine months but i wasnt getting paid so it was more of a volunteer thing and now her store is closed i dont know if that would be enough or not....especially because the store is closed now...would i need proof that her store existed?

We got an RFE, this is what we sent: Letter from employer, ON COMPANY LETTER HEAD with title, name of supervisor, days worked, days off, duties & responsibilities. Signed and dated. Also sent a recept from sally beauty supply, receipt for phone bill payment, recept from H&M for some socks. I'm not an attorney, but I did submit the above for the RFE on 3/20/13 and I got approved BOTH I821D & I765 on 4/5/13. My "feeling" is that they WANT to approve you, they just need to check off the checkboxes to perform due diligence. The ENTIRE last year for proof of being here ALL I submitted originally for that year was a printout of my entire facebook, checkins and all. Then I got the RFE, sent what I said above and got approved 17 days later. Relax, breath and get creative.

i was told facebook wouldnt work unless i had check ins which i dont.... theyre asking for proof for the year 2011 and i dont really have anything...besides facebook and emails....
