Law School Loans or Financing
I'm gonna start my second year of law school, but am having a hard time finding a loan that does not require a SSN. Usually my ITIN works for getting credit cards, but not for student loans.
Does any one know of law school scholarships? Most of the ones I've come accross from MALDEF are for college kids, not law school. Thanks. |

I think with the DAP they will issue SSNs for us, maybe wait a little bit and find out?

no loans come with the work permit or SSN that we're gonna get. loans are for permanent residents only. |

So, we can't get student loans from banks?

For example, F1 and H1B visas get SSN but they can't take out loans. Bank specify in their rules that one must be PR or USC. If your immediate relative or employer co-sign a loan, the bank might give out a loan though. |
