License - Military - btw 18-25 yrs old

hi everybody i haven't post in this website in so long so sorry about it. i do have to upgrade my timeline because as from last thursday i have my driving license.

But something came up today and i search in the forum and didn't find anything.

My brother which got his license on thursday as well, received a letter yesterday with the "news" that he was registered to the military automatically once he went to do the written license test like 2 months ago.

I don't remember reading or hearing anything about this. He called and it seems like he doesn't have to go, only if it is required because of a war and he was registered automatically because he is 22, she said they do it to all guys btw 18-25.

Have anybody else encounter this? I don't like the idea at all, i'm totally against war, but is something that i wanted to let you know.

Any comments?

P.S: Keep dreaming guys/girls.... you have no idea how much my life changed in literally 5 months..... it's a process, it takes time.... but it's totally worth it =D

it's called selective service, any male from 18 years old to 25 are registered whether they like it or not. I think the dmv applied it for you, so nothing to worry about.

You don't have to go to war. I was registered too by the DMV and you should be glad your brother is registered because it is required by law.
