Question for dental licensure

Hiya Everyone,
Just question, I'm currently a hygiene student and graduating this May 2018. Does our SSN works when we try to sign up for board exam licensure?
Because I've experience it says "invalid SSN"

Anyone of you guys experience this in other board exams or any state exam?

It may depend on the state. What state are you in?

I can't get a license in my home state, but I am licensed in my field in the state where I currently live and work.

When I took my nursing license they just need my state ID. School has my SSN so they were able to submit it to the board without ta problem. A SSN is a SSN

Try to talk to someone how helps to organize/administer the board exam. They should be able to help you or point you in the right direction to get help.

I’m licensed as a mortgage loan officer and didn’t have any trouble either, they didn’t even ask me about my immigration status. However, my job handled most of the set up, I just showed up to get my finger prints taken.

Hi everyone thanks for responding. So when I was registering for my board exam it asked for SSN AND WHEN i put my SSN it said “must use a valid SSN” but when I put my number from my work permt card it went through. So now im not sure if its alright to use my work permit
