Of course there has to be compromise - Republicans control the senate. That's the reality of the situation.

Also, stop listening to Kyle Kulinski - he's a grifter.

Several GOP senators already said they were open to immigration reform. Any clean dream act is DOA but the good news is there is some appetite for a deal. I just hope that the liberal Dems or the far right don't screw us. This all or nothing approach is just killing any chances, they need a legit bipartisan approach.

This is not happening. Every single republican is a part of the far right.

There were nearly two deals on immigration during the Trump administration, iIt is about what is being offered and how many people it will affect. There is not going to be a perfect bill, even if Dems have control of all 3 branches. So Dems and GOP need to create a bill that both sides can use to claim victory.

If liberals have to swallow funding for a wall... who really cares. It does not negatively impact the lives of anyone.

Deal #1 - DACA + $25B in wall money, Trump initially agreed to it but deal got Veto by president Miller.
Deal #2 - Water down DACA + everything GOP can dream of for immigration restrictions, Democrats can’t agree to this obviously.

Just because Trump kind of agreed with Deal 1 at first doesnt mean that it would’ve happened without Miller’s intervention. It still had to overcome the Republican Senate and House.

I hope no one here sees Deal 2 as a serious deal.

I don’t see the “radical left” involved in destroying any deal in either of these instances. All destroyed thanks to the evil Republicans.

there won't be Trump jawboning the GOP w/his cult anymore. Mitch won't lift a finger on immigration. And if he does, SCOTUS will just reverse it.
