Security in major cities post Trump
As a life long resident of the east coast and one of the so-called sanctuary cities (see name haha), Ive been fortunate to be relatively insulated from the various concerns (related to ICE/security checks) etc. I havent noticed anything different. As long as one stays out of trouble, life has been pretty much the same pre and post Trump/
However, I have been wondering about what it's been like in other major cities, particularly in places like Washington DC, Philly, or Boston. In particular, if I wanted to move to DC, would one feel more threatened bc Trump is close in proximity, thus more police presence etc? Thanks Would love to hear your thoughts |
Re: Security in major cities post Trump
I live in San Antonio, Texas and I’ve been all over Texas recently (Houston, Austin, north & west Texas). I’ve never had any immigration related concerns - I’ve never heard of any checkpoints of any sort other than those near the border.
