What is AB131

What is the purpose of this bill? Is it like FAFSA?

I am currently enrolled at a community college. is there anyway to reduce my per unit cost for ab540 students? I am enrolled in 25 Units and i need to pay $905 in order to sign up for my summer class. I am in the bay area.

So basically, AB 131 is similar to FAFSA but for DREAMers. Since your enrolled at community college. you can apply for BOG fee waiver at Community College, which means that you don't have to pay your tuition at community college. However, I believe that it will be effective starting from 2013 spring. In addition, if you transfer to 4 years(CSU and UC) you can receive small portions of financial aides depending on your family or your income. Search for Dream Application and you can file one. the deadline is May 2nd? I'm not sure but you should do it this week right away

Is it that one? If so when done filling it up where do i turn it in? Should i only worry about this when i am transferring to a university or i should fill it up now even though i am in a community college? because i do plan to transfer also.
