Hey everyone!

So two of my friends agreed to send some out to help us out. :-) One of them will be sending hers out on Thurdays and the other one will be sending his out on Friday.

We have 5 so far, one on each day of the week. I'll try to talk to more of my friends and family members and keep you all posted.

I love this idea I am in on my Monday I will send my 20, my brother will send 20 as well and my other family members will join the cause!!

Ok, I'm happy more people are interested in doing this. I think we should, for this coming week, focus on trying to seriously bring the number of committed folks up to at least 50 by next week Sunday, April 5th. If that's successful, we can start sending out the postcards on Monday, April 6th.

I stated in my other post that I wanted to do this for 4 weeks, but if enough people join in, and are willing to commit, I will do this every week until the dream act passes.

I'm going to create a myspace page today or tomorrow with the postcarding campaign info, pictures, etc., so that all the information is accessible on one page. I'll also try to use myspace as a medium for spreading the word to other activist groups.

I had to log in to say: I will mail 20 on Fridays. I'd like to see the style of postcard you are all sending. My mom suggested I put at least a decent amount of effort and make them nice to really reach the senators, but I'm not sure how to make index cards look good. Looking forward to your examples/details on when we are starting.

I will be doing it too, and so will my two best friends. So that is three more people to count in.
