Urgent Question:

I applied for advance parole for a program in spain and got approved. My travel document got here like three weeks late and I couldn't go. However, I still have my advance parole document. My question is, can I still use it to go somewhere else? For example, can I go to mexico or canada even though I said I was going to spain in the application?

so, i'm going to answer your question with another question.

Can you afford to get detained for committing fraud?

Are you saying that doing that constitutes fraud? Are you going off of the whole "this information is correct" type of language in the application? If not, what makes you say it's fraud (if that is what you are saying)? In other words, are you just assuming it's fraud?

Yes, you may travel. The AP doc only states the dates you can travel not where you have to travel.

Re: Urgent Question:

I wouldn't do that because you may have to prove that you actually went for educational, employment or humanitarian purposes. You were granted your advance parole because you met your educational purposes, not vacation!
