Contact an attorney as soon as possible you basically don't have time to wait. Remind her not to sign anything unless counsel by an attorney. Aside from that why did the police officer arrest her?

Re: Family About To Be Deported !! Need Advice
My dad got pulled over during a check point and was sent to a immigration jail. I looked around El Paso , NM found couple lawyers (charged $1,500-2,500). Since he doesn't speak english, basically what does dogs did was try to get him to sign a voluntary deportation paper or some asswipe lawyer pretended to be his lawyer hired by his family, word is does bastards look for detainees who don't speak english pretend to be their lawyer and try to sign a contract with them, then charge couple grands and don't do crap. What I did was have the lawyer attend a hearing with the judge before the final court date ( supposedly first court don't mean jack and theres going to be several court before any action) get a bond, bring your family member home, then do what you can do to have him/her stay in US.
Good luck, but your family member have a low chance of getting deported, given her condition. If she stayed in this f-ing country 10years or more and have no criminal record then its a bigger plus |
