Travel within US

Is it ok to travel within the US with DACA i.e. EAD card and approval notice? My EAD is valid for another 4 months but I want to make a quick trip out of state. Also whats the deal with REAL ID? Is regular TX ID card acceptable?

I've traveled all over the United States with no issues. I've even visited Alaska and Hawaii. I am going to Puerto Rico soon.

Just use your State ID and if you want, make a copy of your EAD and leave it in your wallet. I've had no reason to bust it out, but have it just in case.

The EAD is considered a valid real ID card so you just need that. Here is the list of what can be used. https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-...identification

I have a quick question. I just noticed my domestic flight is arriving to San Francisco International Terminal, is this safe? It does not make since why a domestic flight from New York to San Francisco is arriving at an International terminal. Note: there is non stops.

Yeah it can happen due to lack of gate space. You won't have to go through customs or do any type of passport/visa check.

I recall one of my flights back from Hawaii was like this.
