Big concern regarding DACA Renewal ! Help

HI! Everyone

My DACA status will expire on Dec 2017. I have no criminal history, but I do have final removal order, I am just little bit worried under this administration. Looks like recent ICE raid were targeting people who are subject to final removal order .

Does anyone with final removal order has successfully renewed their DACA under new administration?

Please share your experience, Thanks so much !

Calm down, you will be fine as long as DACA is still going on. Why are you worried about renewal when you have until October to file your documents to get your DACA renewed before it expires? Trump will soon talk about the fate of DACA and Dreamers, which, after that, we will get a good picture of what to expect. I am not under a final removal order, by the way, but I am sure that you will be fine as long as you do not commit any crimes.

Priority for deportation:

Anyone who has received a final order to leave the country, but has not left, is also considered a priority.

Stop scaring people. You do not know if this include people with DACA or not. Most likely it does not, we would have heard of a DACA holder being deported already. There are a lot of people on that situation and are currently DACA holders.

Make sure you renew your DACA status when your expiration comes up. DACA does offer some protection and as long as you're not a criminal then you'll be fine.

You may want to find a nice U.S citizen bf/gf in the meantime

I am trying to find a USC GF but the main problem is that I have a EWI and I didn't want to do AP because it was too risky.

The source is NYTimes. There is no more legit source.

But we need a source that deals with DACA and removal orders. I do not understand your second sentence. Are you implying that the NYT is the best source out there?

Next time read the damn article. This is what it says about DACA recipients with a final removal order. "Mr. Trump’s executive order could affect any unauthorized immigrant who is not protected by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, which the Obama administration put in place to give young people work permits and temporary relief from deportation. (Mr. Trump has not yet made clear whether he intends to keep that program.) " - NYT https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/26/u...tion.html?_r=0
