RFE With Different LIN Number? - Nebraska

Hello, I know there is an RFE thread, but it seemed like it was mostly people talking about the reasons for additional evidence.
My question is for those who have received an RFE, and if it is normal to have a different LIN number than the one in our recent notices.

Thank you!

ps. Can't figure out how to make a sig, so here are my dates if anyone is interested.

Date Application Sent - August 24th, 2012
Rerouted to - Nebraska
Date delivered - August 27th, 2012
Application Received - August 30th, 2012
Date of I-797 C Notice of Action - September 10th, 2012
Date Biometrics scheduled - October 1, 2012 - Walk-in - September 19th
RFE Received November 5th

Call USCIS... i do not think this is normal. You should have the same LIN as either deferred action OR I765

Thanks for the response.

Yes, that is what I am thinking of doing in the morning. Hopefully it is a mistake and an RFE is not needed for me. The LIN number isn't THAT much different, only the last digit, and only one number lower.

But it is not either your I765 nor you I821d? You should have 2 LINS one for each. For example I had:

SRC00005 for I821D and

SRC00006 for I765

Yes I feel stupid now. You are totally right and I am sorry for wasting your time. I have been looking at my Biometrics LIN number, which I thought was the same as my Deferred Action receipt.
I think I was just hoping it was be a mistake.
Time to start losing my mind finding more evidence I guess.

Thank you, and take care.
