hey guys ive been a lurker here but never actually posted. Im 22 and have lived in this country since i was 10 years old. Like many of you I am not able to get an ID or DL but that isnt stopping me from driving anywhere. I pretty much have come to a point in my life where i have to go out and take risks, i cannot live under a rock and stay home all day. I hope the dream act passes this years, I will help out in any way possible.

Edit: somethign else i wanted to say, i came to this country with my family, they all got papers now except me, ain't that a bitch!? lol

That's good that you don't limit yourself because of your status but you CAN get a driver's license and drive legally, there are ways.

How come all your family are citizens except you? what happened? and did you enter legally?

we all came legally with visitor visas and we eventually overstayed. I got a ss card when i was a kid and was able to get an ID from another state when i was 19. I havent gone to get a DL because of the cost of traveling and school but will do soon. As Far as my family, my parents got divorced a year or so after we came here and they got remarried after i was 18 even though they couldve done it before i was 18. its all fucked up but o well .
