Dreamers,

Is it possible to switch jobs while our current EAD is a few months shy of expiration, but we're already in the process of renewing?

What to tell the new company?

I did. I just got hired and my EAD is 5 months until renewal. The HR didn't ask why but if they do I'll gladly tell them that the renewal process is ongoing and will come back to them with the new EAD.

Yeah, long as your EAD is not expired you will be fine.

I'm currently in the same position. I really want to leave my job. My manager keeps coasting through his job. I am currently seeing a lot of nepotism hires.
