Please add the book What Color is your Parachute? by Richard M. Bolles. It's an amazing book that has good amounts of advice on career finding in a tough economy.

Glassdoor is an excellent resource. It allows you to search individual companies for positions, common interview questions and procedures, and salaries for specific positions.

I highly recomend looking at Glassdoor when searching for a career.
