Guns!
Anyone know if we are allowed to get gun permits? My cousin is a u.s citizen and he got his with out a problem of course but he said all they asked for in the application was his ssn and his ID and of course he went in for fingerprints.
P.S In Indiana Also dont ask WHY I want a gun. Don't worry I dont plan on shooting anyone lol I just like guns. |
Re: Guns!
No only LPR and USC are allowed that right.

Re: Guns!
I've been looking into it and everywhere it says that you have to be at least a Permanent Resident.

Re: Guns!
Yeah wouldn't surprise me if NC/Most states require LPR/USC. I'd like to take some classes and own a hand gun.

Re: Guns!
can you atleast go to a firing range and rent a gun to shoot there ?

Re: Guns!
I made a thread about this a couple of months ago. No you cannot own a firearm unless you are a permanent resident or citizen. And this is per the ATF's website.

Re: Guns!
I would also like to add to always comply with all gun laws to the T. Because any infraction with a firearm can mess with your naturalization process later on (assuming you plan on doing it).

Re: Guns!
You know most of us get our work permit and want to go to find a job and/or go to school, you on the other hand want to get guns.
But short answer is no, you're not allowed to have guns. You can get away with purchasing one but you ever get caught there goes all or any chances you had to become a citizen. |
