What do you think will happen to pending cases?
So, as you all know, September 5th is right around the corner. The day that either Trump will rescind DACA, or it will go to the courts. Hopefully everything will work out in the end, but say that DACA was rescinded, what do YOU think will happen to pending DACA cases?
Do you think they will be denied/closed alltogether? Or that they will still process those but will no longer accept applications after September 5th? I know nobody is an expert or a fortune teller, just trying to get peoples opinions. I just got my biometrics appointment today for September 1st, so this is something I've been wondering. |
Re: What do you think will happen to pending cases?
They will stop processing them.

Maybe wishful thinking but I think they will process them, the ones before the cut off date.

If you have your DACA you'll probably still have your daca. The cleanest way to end it would be to do a phase out.

I hope we get a refund if they stop processing our cases.

DACA won't go anywhere unless there is a permanent solution

I know you didn't ask this but ...what if you do a walk-in to your bio apt.? I did it once and the people at the Bio office were not too happy about it but still let me do it. I also did it in a service center that was not the one on my Bio letter so probably that's why they were mad :/
