Credit union membership denied!!
 

Hello everyone im trying to join a credit union but have ben denied by two already because in not a permanent resident, does anyone know of a credit union in the dallas fort worth area that would accept a daca recipient?

What!!?? That’s crazy! I have an account with Security service credit union, got as soon as I got DACA. I have a savings, checking, and credit card with them. Am not sure if they’re up in Dallas tough...

?? I always say I am a resident. Maybe it is different in California? I havent had any problems. and they have never asked to see my physical SSN card that I remember. They only ask for my DL and SS number.

The last place i went to i said that but when they approved me for a credit card the requested a copy of my grren card.

No issues here. I have an account with two Credit Unions in the Bay Area. Only one asked for my SS card. I just uploaded a picture and they approved it shortly after.

Weird, even here in North Carolina I have a credit union account.

Drivers License, and SSN was all that I needed, I think..
