Brother going back to South Korea.

My younger brother decided to go back to korea. Unlike me, he was not eligible for DACA due to DUI. I'm worried for him since he doesn't read or write korean (he was in US since 3 years old). This is a big change since neither of us will be able to see each other for 10 years. He would also have to serve mandatory 1.5 years of military service.

He will be leaving 2nd week of September. I'll try to update how he does through this transition.

south korea a great place. You can get away with speaking english in south korea too. As far a military service, i doubt they would be in a war anytime soon.

You should be more worried about his judgement skills. Undocumented and got a DUI.

Probably the best idea for him. That DUI would come back to bite him over and over again and possibly make him inadmissible.

Technically, south is still at war with north. No peace treaty.

Yea, he regrets it a lot. But mistakes happen. Also, he saw me succeed with my DACA. I know it hurts knowing that he messed up. He cleaned up a lot after. I'm just sad it had to be this way.
