State ID sucks...

i just got my state ID and was extremely excited until i saw "temporary visitor" with a 2 years expiration date =_=". i was given the option to choose between a 4 years or 8 years State ID when i was in DMV, and i chose the 8 years one (the fee was only 4$ difference). With that freaking enlarged temporary visitor expiration date, the 4/8 years is completely unimportant !!

Ha, says the same thing on my learner's permit. Does suck indeed. No worries though, with next year's immigration reform we won't have to worry for that long :)

But what's the problem with that? Its not like the bars and Casinos will deny you. All they care about is your birth date. On the other hand you got your work authorization. Who the hell cares about the sign. Just white it out brah...from your mind. :)

I'm pretty sure that the ID is valid until it expires, just stay away from borders when the temp visitor thing expires. (My step father drove on one that had the temp visitor expired from 2008 - 2012 with no problem).
