Care Credit?

Hey guys,

Just wondering, has anyone applied to Care Credit and was successfully approved?
I was thinking of taking a chance at it since I currently don't have insurance, but really needs a medical plan.....for personal needs, not Obama care.

Any DACA approved know about this?

thanks

I applied for care credit about 2 years ago and got approved. But I did get a cosigner, so not sure if I would have been approved without one. The one thing you need to remember is to pay off the balance before promotional period ends, or they will charge you the whole deferred interest. And also make sure you don't miss a payment or they will charge you interest for that too.

Thanks man. I was wondering what my chances are of getting approved. I have DACA, but have less than a year left before I need to renew it. I don't know if it will affect anything.

Your legal status doesn't affect whether you get approved or not. They just ask for social #. The most important thing is that you have some sort of credit history and list some sort of annual income (which they don't even verify). As far as I know, Carecredit is intended to make medical treatments affordable for people so I think it is much easier to get approved. The only problem I see is if you have bad credit history or no history at all. If you apply, just apply at the doctors office or something. They will tell you right then and there if you were approved.

I applied about a year ago by myself no co-signer and got approved for 13k (i do have very good credit though). Like the previous poster said they'll just look at your credit history based on your ssn, i suggest you at least check your credit on creditkarma.com before applying
