Lack of Proof
 

I finally collected all the documents I had since I came to the US in 2001 but I'm still missing a 6 months from 2007 and 8 months from 2008 and I have looked EVERYWHERE to find anything on those months but i've come up empty handed (except for my itunes purchase history). The person who's helping me file my application says it's not a good idea to fill those months with affidavits so I feel completely stuck at the moment and don't know what to do next. Has anyone applied with months filled with affidavits and approved before?

That is a huge gap... anything with your name and date will suffice

I remember on a couple of years, 08 and 09 I think, I just had 2 proofs of evidence. Doctor visits and car insurance renewal, and I was approved.

when i applied the first time i didnt have any proof for 2011 and i was worried... but then i remembered i ordered some stuff from a website using some gift certificates... i just kept the order numbers on my emails but that wasnt enought because it didnt show my name and address
so i emailed the cutomer service and asked them if they still have the receipts or invoices of those orders with full details... and a couple of days later they emailed me 3 invoices showing all the information i needed
