ICE hits again...
 

but this time it hit my home. My father was arrested today and taken downtown. Later today he will be taken to Miami to be deported back to homeland. My dad told me that there were about 20 other people with him that were arrested.
The officers came in this morning and detained my father. They told us that he is being deported because he isn't a citizen.
I hope Obama stops these raids, I hope no one els will have to deal with this pain that I face today.

I feel really bad for you and your family. It's a tragic day when ICE separates families and crushes dreams. But, hopefully, yours may still be realized...

If I can ask, did they have a search/arrest warrant to enter your home? How'd they get his name?

they had a warrant for arrest but, no warrant for arrest. My dad was in jail before for something that wasnt his fault, so maybe thats why his name was in the system already.

I just hope Dream act passes, i will then push my self to become an immigration lawyer like my father wanted me to. I take it as a bad turn in life but I cant stop here jsut keep dreaming and striving for the best

Oh man, that sucks! you are lucky that you are ok though, I hope that your father will find a way to get to the US again.
