Short day-trip to Santa Barbara via Amtrak?
Hey all!
I've been reading the Amtrak threads here, and the trips in question are generally long, interstate trips. So..here goes. I live in Simi Valley which is an hour and a half away from Santa Barbara. My friends and I are taking a day trip this Friday to go to the zoo for a biology assignment. We've decided to take the Amtrak, and of course the question of ID came to my mind. All of my friends have DL's, so they're not worried. But I only have my high school photo ID [with only my picture, my name, my school's name, and my year on it]. Will that be enough? Should I bring my foreign passport just in case for proof of age? It's a pretty short trip, so would it matter? Thanks |

All right.
I doubt the conductor would bother with teenagers. Thank you. |
