Javier is getting deported today — CALL NOW
 

Javier’s case worker referred him to us just this past Saturday, since then several of us have been working tirelessly to try and defer his deportation, specifically by getting an extension. He is facing a deportation date of TODAY, August 6, 2009.


A letter was filed with ICE director Michael Pitts yesterday asking for such an extension. Director Pitts has full authority to grant such an extenstion, however he has not yet done so.


Your calls will make the difference.


Call ICE Director Michael Pitts (210-967-7056) and tell him to grant Javier Garcia-De La Paz’s (A#089 930 664) request for an extension of time on deportation. Tell them Javier has lived here for 17 years and needs an extension!!

No need to call anymore. Unfortunately, ICE denied his request for an extension. He'll be leaving the only country he's known for 17 years. Terrible news, but this is the reason why we need to get as many signatures over at www.dreamact2009.com, call our congressmen, send letters, and do everything we can to pass the DREAM Act so that no more students like Javier get deported.

Please, get involved. There are many DREAM Act groups all over the country, find where they are and make a difference!

OMG! That's horrible. I can't believe that it's so real! I've hidden in the shadows for so long, so I haven't imagined anything bad happening.. but it's happened to one of us.. and it's real! Guys please please, lets do anything and everything we can to help pass the DA. It's in our best interest to help save one another.. may GOD continue to bless Javier and help guide him the best way possible.
