I just wanted to share the oh so happy news that I have just received my last grades for my MBA and I passed!!! :mrgreen: I'm so happy I could cry, and no I'm not bragging, but I just wanted to share this with all of you out there who day to day sometimes wonder if all of this worth it and let me tell you friends... IT IS!!

I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that nothing, absolutely nothing can stop you from achieving everything that you can possibly be...

Your stories have inspired me to keep fighting this fight, and even if I end up somewhere else in the world, be sure to know that NO ONE in this world can take away your achievements, intelligence and determination!!

Congrats!!!!

There's a professor at my school that tells his students to get an MBA, as opposed to a master's in an engineering field.

So with an MBA do you basically know everything about starting/managing a successful business? Say you went to a foreign country (America) with 10 cents in your pocket and you lived in a bay setting, would you be able to be "financially well off" within 10 years?

I got my MBA in Texas with a concentration in Human Resources... Nevfo - you probably wouldn't be able to run a business straight off of your MBA, but then again anything is possible. The one thing I do recommend to anyone interested in a masters is to go for an area that they're really interested in and will be able to use it in their own field... I got a bachelors in hospitality management, but went into the training field which led me to Human Resources, so it depends on your own path!!

I have lots of friends that got their masters in engineering, but they already had in mind what specific field they were going into... So options are many, you just have to make up your own mind!

Also, if you keep up your GPA, there are plenty of scholarships out there, at least there were on field, so friends, the sky is the limit...
