Re: Obama and the Democrats Set to Launch Go It Alone Strategy on Health Care Reform
I like this article.....seriously, freakn opposition just really enjoys distorting facts to persuade people to become basically their puppets. Its like when I was arguing with someone that actually claimed that their are 40+million "illegals" in the U.S. What awful tactics that their "sources" play in order to garner support.
Democrats need to seriously grow a spine, and strengthen their unity within their party.Republicans need to quit their shameful strategies. All they are doing is dragging their own reputation down the drain. Somebody needs to tell them to quit being sore losers and start the bi-partisan talks so that compromises can be met. The Health Care Reform debate is a sign of what we can expect when they tackle immigration.....I can already see people like Rush Limbaugh, and Lou Dobbs misguiding Americans with ludicrous "facts". |

I'm glad that they're going to do something because the opposition is simply making a mockery of the entire health care debate. On GMA this morning, there was a senior citizen saying that people were passing out flyers with the sole purpose of misinforming older folks about the reform.

THANK YOU!
"Bipartisanship" implies that the other side will engage in rational debate, and not resort to screeching like chimps, misleading and frightening away people, and spreading lies. They have to do this because they know that if they approached this rationally in the court of public opinion, they would lose. People would realize that this isn't some Stalinist takeover, and that profit-driven insurance companies are doing just what they are meant to do, which is to put profits over people. |
