Did anyone see the Presidential address

During the September 9, 2009 speech to a joint session of Congress by President Obama, Wilson pointed and shouted "You lie!" as the President said there was no coverage for illegal immigrants in his healthcare plan.[10][11][12] Wilson left the House chamber immediately after the end of the speech.[13]

After the session, appearing on Larry King Live, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) said, "Totally disrespectful. No place for it in that setting or any other and he should apologize immediately."[14][15]

Wilson later apologized, saying "This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill. While I disagree with the President’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the President for this lack of civility.”[16] He also called the White House to apologize personally. [17]

this is getting ridiculous

Yes, I did watch his speech and did hear someone calling "You lie!".
I found out who the person was after the speech.

I think we all should thank the heckler for heckling the President.
He didn't do any favors to the Republicans dut did a lot of favors to the Democrats.
He made the Republicans look worse and the Democrats and the President look better.
The Republican response after the speech was overshadowed by his classy act.
And, he helped raise over $20,000 for his political opponent in South Carolina.

Let's just hope his heckling and the President's speech can speed up the heatlh care debate so that we can see the immigration bill passed this year.

This, and Cantor texting in the middle of the speech, were amazing.

It made Republicans look like the bunch of losers that they are :D

I hope Obama is a liar, at least in this issue. I would be really good if we get covered by a health care plan, specially since we pay our taxes.

I don't know anything about the health care plan because well ,I haven't read it nor I think that it even exists. I am just confused because isn't health care for those that dont have insurance etc. I heard that most of the uninsured are undocumented people so if they are not going to be cover then what ? I am not saying oh give me health care because well whatever.

From the House bill - "No Federal Payment for Undocumented Aliens. Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States."

With that said... some people say that although technically that's true, that it might still happen since they haven't added enough "enforcement mechanisms" - but that comes from the same people who believe we get medicaid
