my ex is threatening me to report me with ins i am freaking out the one person i trust to tell my secret and now its being used against me advice?

wow, how many people here have I told not to tell your 'significant other' your situation. I got ridiculed for it here. But here are the results. It cannot lead to anything good.

I heard a saying before that goes "...God protect me from my friends because I can handle my enemies..." I think it holds true in this situation.

yeah well only reason i told my ex was because we had been together for so long i trust him that was my bestfriend...and now he is going all psycho and just doing it to hurt me.

Is there a human rights coalition in TX? we have one here in Arizona. It's called "Derechos Humanos" in Spanish. If there is one in TX my advice is you contact them. However, in reality there isn't much you or they will be able to do. Unfortunately one needs to be very careful with whom they tell.

Also you should try to explain to him that you fell in love with him not with his status. Maybe he thinks you tricked him into falling in love with you so that you could get some sort of status and now he feels the pressure of helping you and he is angry at that. I'm not saying that's an excuse for treating you like this, I'm just trying to explain the situation.

I have explain to him we never talked about marriage when i told him he told me that he wouldnt think less of me and now all of the sudden he is coming after me.

If he were to call would ICE take him serious? he is just report me im not like a drug dealer or anything im at lost lesson learned for sure

Its a lesson learned for sure i will NEVER tell anyone he just ruined everything for me complete moron i just want him to leave me alone

i have already filed a police report for threats i dont think it will do much but at least there is some type of document saying he has been threatening me

Hey txgirl,I'm so sorry.it's normal to be freaking out about this.believe me if he does call ice they're going to believe him.I would know. Why is he doing this.I used to date this guy for a long time and he figured out on his own while he was helping me out when my dad got detained by ice.we broke up and he threatened me so many times.but the loser cared about me so he neveR did anything. please stop telling people about your status. Believe some people will use that against you.

keep your cool, and if ICE ever shows up at your door just say he sexually abused you but u didn't want to report him because he kept threatening to have you deported. Then you'll qualify for a U-visa and he'll be behind bars. Well only take my advice if you have the heart for it, I know they say "hell hath no fury like a women scorned"
