Has anyone flown in Miami International Airport recently?

I was wondering if anyone has flown in Miami International Airport recently...

I'm 17, so according to the TSA website, I don't need to show a form of photo ID to get on the plane.. but I was wondering if maybe Miami asks for it anyway.. cause it is possible that I could look 18.

And also, if you have flown in it before and after the attack on Christmas and noticed any chances in the process, can you tell us about it?

Thanks in advance!

Does your High School provide you with picture id if so.. you can use that to prove you're under 18 without needing to provide gov issued id. but since youre under 18 i am not sure if you're allowed to travel without an adult.

Hopefully someone else on the board can give you a more clear answer.

.. Securtiy is High in screening your belongings and body but documents it stays normal as said in the tsa.gov website. if you are 17 you dont need a Gov ID to fly. All you need is a school ID BUUUUUUUUUUT make sure you take a something that says your birthdate in case the TSO asks you for a second ID that shows your birthday.... but the tso's where very nice and some of them can be rude and bitch at you and ask anything they want to ask. i had a minor with me and she is 10 they didnt ask nothing from her. But dont risk it if you dont need to. its kinda 50/50 as soon as you purchase your ticket Airlines scan it to make sure your name is not on the watch list....anyways thats all i got.

Normanlly airlines want u to buy ur tix ahead of time. That gives dhs to make sure u are not a terrorist. And the FBI terrorist watchlist and no fly list is people who are on the lookout. As u may have seen Americans have complained that theirname is on the list. Even babies names are on. Anywho hope this helps.

No tso's. Don't ask your age. When u buy your ticket make sure you mark on the age range.

Okay, so let me get this straight. A 17 yr old can travel by himself/herself and he/she only needs a school id? no? the reason i'm asking is because i'm 17 as well and i want to go to Orlando for a week. All i have is my passport and my school id... is that good enough? My parents won't go with me because they're scared to go on a plane. So it would be my friends and I.
