Thoughts on CIR (by an immigration attorney)
This is the attorney I had talked to about my situation. Really cool guy and very knowledgeable. 20+years experience in immigration law.. He sends out a newsletter every month w/immigration news and whatnot. This month he posted an article titled "CIR Update". Thought I'd share it with you guys. There is another article in which he looks over the 26page proposal that was released by Senators Reid/Schumer/Menendez. I'll post that one next for those interested.

Gosh, everyone says that CIR will fail miserably.

I dont care what anyone says. I'm gonna believe in my creator God , the One who holds governments in His hands that cir will pass. I will not look to man but to God.

Re: Thoughts on CIR (by an immigration attorney)
I just want it to be over with, seriously. Of course I hope for the best, but I just want to know the answer YES or NO, so I can either move out of the country and start a new life somewhere else or stay here and become a legal resident. I've been waiting for a long time, following the stories, updates etc. and I want this never ending roller coaster ride to come to a conclusion, even if it means CIR fails and I have to start packing my bags.

^ That's exactly how I feel.

I still have my hopes up, I believe in god, and I believe this our time for an immigration reform. It doesn't matter that we won't get tax benefits and stuff after 8 years, but at least we are going to be able to live in peace and without fear. CIR 2010!
