My friend is going to get into trouble with this, isn't he?
 

Hey there.

My friend is in college, working on his BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing).

One of the requirements for the clinical part of his course is a criminal background check.

He has committed no crime whatsoever. Never charged, arrested, never convicted. But he is out of status.

Will he be able to get his background check verified or is he screwed?

He has to get it done online at

Nothing to worry about. They are checking if you have a criminal record and that's all.

He should be fine, it's a criminal check, not immigration check.

P.S. Many people on this forum have had a check like the one your friend is about to undergo. Hopefully they reply to this thread to put you and your friend at ease.
