Re: A short survey
DREAM will come forth for a vote this year, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Whether it has the votes to actually pass congress that's the job of 2 person in congress: Senator Dick Durbin- Senate Deputy Majority Leader and Representative Jim Clyburn- House Deputy Majority Leader

Re: A short survey
You should have came up with a choice for never. Not to be pessimistic, but it seems like every couple of years around election time. Activists get more active, and the presidents come out talking about CIR, but only using that for votes, but nothing happens. And then they bring it up at the next election. The DREAM has been laying around since 2003, and look and where it is 7 years later.

Lol....Steviola don't get upset man.
We are not wasting our time. We come here because we are all in the same boat. I do want the dream act to pass, I do write letters, and send faxes. I have been to a couple of demonstrations in DC. But, at a certain point one loses hope. I think some of us have reached that point. |

BTW, hope is a matter of perspective. So it's irrational. |

I just get frustrated at time. How backwards is the mentality of this politicians. Here we are, young, smart, some of us graduated from college, some of us in college, and this country is willing to let us waste years of productivity. I just don't get it. |
Re: A short survey
Yeah, being productive is good ja ja. :):):)

Re: A short survey
In my opinion if it does not pass this year and next year, it might not pass until after 2014.
But that being said, i think it has a good chance of passing this or next year. |
