Hi. Im Daniela Garcia. 16 years young, soon to be graduate of Omaha North High in Nebraska! I am leading a group of high school Nebraska students to hold a convention this spring to raise awareness about the Dream Act. We will be targeting our Republican Anti-Immigration state Senators. This is only the beginning of change in Nebraska.

I am also a new member to the Portal, though I have been coming here for a long time now. I talk about the dream Act at every chance that I get. What I have come to learn is that many people still ignore our situation. Many people still believe that we can just join the military and become citizens. This is why sites like this and actions like the ones Daniella is taking are necessary, to increase awareness on DA. I look forward to contribute more to the cause.
