Cornyn statement on DREAM
WASHINGTON” U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) issued the following statement on the Defense Authorization Bill:
“The Dream Act should be a part of comprehensive immigration reform. Adding it to the Defense Authorization, which already contains an unwarranted repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,’ is cynical and transparently political. Senator Reid said just yesterday that job creation should be Congress’ top priority, and I agree with him on that. I fail to see how his actions meet that goal. I have no doubt that Americans will see this for what it is.” http://www.thedailylight.com/article...1326450749.txt Let's call and email his office and get him to change his mind! |
Re: Cornyn statement on DREAM
Was Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas) Ever a supporter or co-sponsor of the dream act?

Re: Cornyn statement on DREAM
Don't even think about to change his mind. Cornyn will not change his mind because he is just another flip-flop, and do not care about immigration issue. only talk but no action at all and blame all the responsibility to Obama Administration. if CIR bring up, he will come out another stupid reasons to block it and fail it. most of Republicans don't want to solve this problems and what they want to do is deport all of us.
i don't really understand why so many Americans still support republicans, and they all see how bad republicans handle any issues and Bush administration. |

Re: Cornyn statement on DREAM
This time around, its a bigger fight. Even if it does not pass with 60 next week. It could be brought up again either as a stand-alone or part of CIR.
