Reid: McCain Should Not Block DREAM Act
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has engaged Senator John McCain on his threat to block Defense Authorization Legislation unless the DREAM Act, Repealing of both Dont Ask Dont Tell and Secret Holds Amendments are stripped out.

what I find interesting is that McCain said he doesn't support the dream act IF it is attached to the defense bill. So that means if they took it off he would vote yes (if he doesn't change his mind again). and he also supports the dream act as a stand alone.
So Why wouldn't he support both together? he is trying not to look like an a$$ by saying he supports the dream act but gives the excuse to appeal to the bias voters of the state. If he keeps jumping the fence he will eventually get impaled on it |
