Brown calls dream act amnesty
BOSTON — Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown says a federal proposal to allow illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship through college or military service is “amnesty” and supporters are “playing politics with military funding.”
The Massachusetts Republican said Monday that he is opposed to illegal immigration and is was deeply disappointed that the DREAM Act has been included in a defense policy bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wants to add the immigration measure to the defense bill, but some Republicans oppose it and are accusing Reid of playing politics. Some military leaders support it because of the recruitment potential. A vote may come as early as Tuesday. Brown’s comment comes as student immigrant advocates are holding a vigil outside of his Boston office. http://www.wbur.org/2010/09/20/dream-act-amnesty WTF scott brown!!! Re: Brown calls dream act amnesty
he accuses Reid of playing politics by putting this in the defence bill. But he is the playing politics by opposing it just because he thinks Reid's intentions are faulty

I never expected him to support any form of immigration reform.

Re: Brown calls dream act amnesty
why are people so obsessed with ted kennedy? he, like mccain, skipped the vote for the DREAM in 2007 after he sponsored it.
