Do they not get it??

What the hell don't they understand. Man, I wish i could just go up to one of those racist senators and say " What? Do you think I told my parents when I was 3 years old to bring me here? Do you honestly think this is my fault, Can you imagine yourself going back to a country that you HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE? Are you stupid or are you just pretending? My spanish sucks, I could never write a paper in Spanish nontheless even speak it correctly. Why cant you just let me stay, I work hard, I dont get introuble, yet you let criminals and drop outs stay" FUCK you.

Thats my Rage.

Sometimes i just sit in my room wondering why we are all in this situation, were all good kids. Yet were in a country were we DID NOT pick to come, and are told that we dont belong even though we lived here our whole life. I now see why every other country talks so bad about America.

Don't blame America. I blame my parents for bringing me here without a back up plan. And partially my home country for being such a corrupt place. The U.S. has provided me with public education and a place I call home. And now it might even make me a legal resident. What other country can do that for you when you have stayed there illegally (by choice or not)?

^^^ This

Also don't forget that it wasn't THEIR fault that your parents brought you here in the first place. They have the right to whether care or not care, the only argument we have here is fairness and that the DA is the right thing to do to fix this problem.

They never owed us anything.

Ugh, am I the only who hates the

"Its my parents fault for bringing me, I was braught here against my will! My home country is so foreign i cant go back!" argument.

I see it as downright disrespectful to your parents and this country.

While that might be the reality it does a poor job at convincing. In fact, it sounds downright contridictory.

"Its my parents fault"
ok, they didnt know life would get this hard, some do have back up plans others don't. But if you hate your parents decision so much why stay

"i was braught here against my will"

brought here against your will yet you cry about wanting to stay...great.

"my country is so forign..."

yeah ok, my country is too I came at age 3. But my parents did a great job of adapting here and they were in their 20's.

Again, that may be the reality. But whoever decided this was a great argument to use is an ass.

I dont blame my parents, and I didnt come against my will I was escatic to be going on "vacation" was even more delighted when I asked if we could stay and my parents said yes haha. Definitly my parents fault i am getting a world class education, bringing me here "against my will" has been the best thing in of my life. i am politicaly involved, I strive to be better, and if at the end of the day if I have to leave l know I have an education I can use in my home country.

Nevertheless i'll keep hoping for DREAM Act to pass. Army then Med school is my dream =D

Oh and your sukish spanish skills is your fault. Think you need to live in a country to learn a language No. Take some electives if you are in school on spanish, if you are religious read your bible, or what it may be in spanish. Read more books in spanish. Write letters (or emails)in spanish to relatives. Learning a different language is all ip to you, not the country you live in. =P have a friend (USC) who started Spanish at age 6, still does it now. He can write better than I can, I can read and speak better than he can, but its hardly noticible. I have another (undocumented) knows 4 languages. Its part of her "plan B" if things go to hell.
