Selective Service Card not coming
 

Hey guys, It's been over a month since I mailed my selective service application and I haven't received the card yet. How long did it take yours to come? Should I just mail in an other application?

it took a while before my card arrived.

go to the US post office, they usually have them out there, if you don't see them ask at the desk for one and they should give you an application, fill it out and leave the SSN portion blank.

The directions state that you leave the SSN portion blank if you don't have one, so you are not doing anything wrong, and it is a mandatory requirement for undocumented immigrants between the ages of 18 to 26.

The application was a booklet purple in color with a detachable postcard application, you have to pay postage.

I would send it certified and with proof of receipt, even though it costs more then $5, at least you know when it gets there and you get a proof of receipt with a selective service system stamp, and most importantly date of receipt.
