No, in 2011 we just can hope for executive orders like a TPS for eligible DREAM Act beneficiaries (in case DREAM Act doesn't pass in the lame duck session )

Think about it. Dems are still Senate majority and Reid is the Senate majority speaker in 2011 and Gut will push for it anyways in the House.

Yes, but Obama needs to show results to the Hispanic community in order to win the elections in 2012. and with a ultra conservative house and senate will be impossible to pass large provisions like CIR.

Well it was passed in 1986 and almost in 2006 and 2007.

the problem with large provisions is that it brings more hate to immigrants than solutions, i think is more intelligent to bring small provisions that don't get to much attention than these huge provisions that look like big white elephants.
