I applaud McCaskill for what she did. She has more balls than people like McCain and Hatch.

just because its big and technologically advanced; it don't mean it can win wars. another thing... one of the comments on yahoo.com said "let them bleed for our country, not go to school, just the military option I want".. LETS BRING BACK THE DRAFT BABY AND THEN WE SEE WHO LOVES THIS COUNTRY LIKE THEY SAY THEY DO. talk is cheap |

Re: Senator McCaskill just posted this about the DREAM Act.
Lets get one thing clear. On this vote, the Republicans who were suppose to help did help. 5 democrats is what cost us the Dream. I'm all for keeping the faith and all, but I know for sure that nothing in regards to immigration is going to get done in the next for years. We couldn't count on the Senate before, we cannot now.

Re: Senator McCaskill just posted this about the DREAM Act.
If they bring the Draft again, you would see a mass exodus to canada like Bill Clinton and many others. I supported the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, but the gays and lesbians that enlisted after 93 knew exactly what they were getting themselves into. Those who went on to the Air Force Academy, West Point and Naval Academy also knew about the DADT policy. They had a choice. The thousands if not millions of kids that were brought here didn't have a choice.

Too bad she will probably lose her re-election.[/QUOTE I have seen everyone from the Numbers USA and the Tea Party go after her since the vote on the Dream Act they are going to throw everything to get her out of the senate for this vote. Missouri is a conservative state with a democratic senator these are the one's that when they lose it will hurt. |
