Hah. I thought the OP was Australian when I read the thread title, and I thought: "why the fuck would an Aussie be willing to live in the shadows here when he could be living in a country with so many beautiful beaches."

EXACTLY what I thought hahaha

P.S. I thought your name kbs111 looked familiar, that's because I just saw your post (inheriting 245i) on Ron's immigration website! Cool! haha

I'm an Australian Citizen, was born there when my parents were residents in 1990. I would go live there, I have my passport and everything but I'm still finishing up my BA. It's not as easy as you think, I mean I'd have to leave behind everything and go somewhere where I have no family or friends and money is certainly an issue. It stresses me out everyday to have to think about this but when all is said and done it's better than living here in the shadows.

It's either Australia or Portugal (my parents home country which I also have a passport for). I just think Australia is way better off than portugal, which is why I would want to live in Australia. The choices I'll have to make in the coming years (2012, when I graduate), will be difficult.
