The State of the Union Speech: will immigration even be mentioned?
With all the focus on economy and joblessness and a president with approval rating getting close to that of Bush (until the last poll released this week by organizations with dubious claim to independency), what do you think of the chances for immigration to be mentioned in the upcoming State of the Union speech?
My guess is, if it is ever mentioned, it is going to be in negative context, with talk about stronger border enforcement and such. |

Lets wait and see. I'm pretty sure he'll talk about that and I expect him to elaborate more on his meeting with the Chinese president, Hu Jintao.

Re: The State of the Union Speech: will immigration even be mentioned?
Obama will probably mention immigration for 5 seconds, and it will be posted on DA forum like immigration reform will happen anytime soon.
Guys, get ready to praise Obama for mentioning immigration for 5 seconds. |

I think Immigration and DA will be talked for a while. Obama was not happy when DA failed.
