Background Check WITH valid driver's license & SSN?
 

Hi all,

There's a job I really want to apply for, but it's for a very well-known organization that requires background checks. Even if I have a valid DL and SSN, is there still a way for them to somehow find out that I'm not legal?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think you can work because I don't think NY uses E-Verify. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Btw, how did you get the vaild DL and SSN?

I was here from 1990, when anyone who applied for a SS# could get one. I used that legitimate number to then get my driver's license.
