Is it safe to travel by planes on domestic U.S. without a visa?

Is it safe to travel domestically in the U.S. with a new passport without a visa? Since my visa in my passport had expired a long reply. I just worry about the TSA would question my immigration status.:-(

From what I've been reading, as long as you take precautions in order to not stick up like a sore thumb to the TSA, you'll be fine with a valid passport.

What if the TSA asks my visa? Do I have to bring my old passport visa imaginable? Or just take my new passport?

Can you explain why you don't answer the question up front? It matters because the US has...eh how can I explain. For example, they are less likely to check someone from El Salvador than from Mexico because the US and El Salvador are pretty much buddy buddy. It really has to do with relations between the US and whatever country you're coming from. Like, they'd definitely check someone from the middle east than from Asia because of the supposed potential threat.

Isn't this racial profiling?

Yep and it's legal cause it's for "national security".

Its pretty safe to travel by plane within the US. all need to have is some government issued photo id to match your name on your tickets. Domestic flights are more like a bus travel.
