what to do?

I got a phone call @ home from an individual named "dagli paras". how he got my number, school name, i don't know. but i wasn't available so i called him back and the next thing u know he goes: "we are a company working with big fortune 500 companies and needs students like you"...hmm he kept on asking where i work, what i do, if i am a good student, what is my major? felt like too much questioning so i got ticked and i asked what is aim was and what he needed me for, purpose, objective. he kept on repeating the same story about fortune 500 company and i got ticked again. so i gave him my email and told him to send me an email with his reference and detailed aspect of his issue. Well i don't get opportunities like this too often....fishy...i googled his name and nothing negative came out. the guy is from dallas, tx. he called me form a cell phone. the guy is Indian/guju.

what to do? should i call back and talk in detail and see whats to b expected?

Stray away of any initial investments that promise epic returns.

People don't generally call you to ask about yourself and offer you a job. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

You have to ask where he found out about you from. If he doesn't tell you, its true BS. Did you post your resume on Monster or something?

I am pretty sure this guy was calling you for a legitimate business opportunity. Have you heard of the direct selling company Amway? This company recruits what they call "IBO"s (Independent Business Owners) and the whole point is to create your own team of IBOs. Amway does have various products but the point of this business opportunity isn't only about selling the products. Yes that is what the company wants but a major part of this is to present the business opportunity to other potential IBOs and recruit them into your team. During this, they usually try out different Amway products and many IBOs regularly use these products. I have been an IBO in the past but I wasn't really active in it because of obvious reasons. I didn't have the luxury of time. I'm having a little difficult in describing everything to you properly because I still don't have in depth knowledge myself about the opportunity. I was very skeptical as well but it seems like it does have long term benefits. I would encourage you to google Amway and look at its website. The company does seem to have major impact in the market. As soon as reading your description, I had a doubt it would be about Amway, so I googled his name and Amway and this is what I found. Basically as you continue building your team, you achieve different levels and this is how you start earning some income. Do some research or if you're around the area, definitely check out a presentation from that guy. I still don't understand how he got your information though.
