3/10 Year Bar

Okay so I turn 18 next week from today, could I still leave the country without getting the whole 3/10 year bar? I'm in a community college right and the semester ends in December. The first 6 months is on March 25. If I leave like on January or February, would the 3/10 year bar still affect me? I'm leaving regardless it affects me or not but it wouldn't hurt to know how long I have to stay out of the country. Do ya'll have a website that can answer these questions or could one of you answer them. Thank you. I'll soon be joining some fellow dreamers in Mexico :)

The 3 year ban applies at 18 and a half. 10 year is at 19.

So is there any legal proceedings that I would have to go through? I saw a couple of months ago that somebody was going to do the same thing, but that the person needed to get his or her diploma apostilled and needed to inform the U.S. Embassy of their state that they had arrived so that the 3/10 year bar won't apply. Is this true?

Yes. You do have to get everything apostilled if you wanted it accepted in Mexico. Any vital documents, college transcripts, whatever. Also, it might be good to save up a chunk of money before you leave if possible. A little bit goes a long way here. You might also have to take tests if you want to go to the really good Mexican schools.

Where do I have to go to get the documents apostilled?
