I know the answer is no but just making sure since you're very knowledgeable with this, we're not eligible right? There's absolutely no loop holes that could make us eligible?

i plan to apply for the dv-visa. the issue of 245i...it states before april 31st...i have the date of may 1st. missed it by one day lol. but i plan to apply and see where it leads.

Yeah, I was thinking about this as well. Kenya's definitely on the eligible list. If we win, I'm sure you can at least speak with a lawyer to see if anything can be done.

Depends on what you mean.Eligibility for DV lottery is simply based on country of citizenship and meeting educational and security requirements to be eligible if they have chosen you.

The issue here is really a matter of jurisdiction depending on the individual and where they currently reside.Since Dreamers are in the US without status and are subject to Federal regulations on immigration there is practically no choice but to be Grandfathered under 245i for a possible successful adjustment interview.

Yes, I regret my parents not preparing for that 245i. Actually during that time, their employer wasn't the type who would've sponsored us in filing the labor certification I believe its called. My country is on the eligible list. Even if I win and leave this country, I'd be hit with the 10 year freakin ban so there's no point...oh mannnnnnnnnnn arghhhhhhh can't find a damn girl either :confused:

i am debating on finding a girl for solely green card purposes lol. a buddy of mine found a gal...but thats for get married and have babies. i can't have that. not willing to cheat anyone. but time is running out. i don't think there will b any form of CIR in the near future
